The same thing in the video below can happen to an average person who makes contact with a power line and the ground. Someone carrying a ladder or throwing a rope over a power line can complete the circuit to ground and create a dangerous electrical hazard to health and safety. It is definitely worth while to be very careful around electrical power lines. How much did it cost the company who owned the crane to replace the crane let alone the liability issues created by not being careful around a power line or practicing electrical safety? A tarnished image is one thing but hurting or killing someone is negligence for not practicing electrical safety.
