celiing fan help 2 Months, 3 Weeks ago

I'm replacing an old ceiling fan/light with a new one. It is connected to two three-way switches that operate both fan and light. I'd like it to remain that way. But I can't figure out how to wire it correctly.
from the box I have BLACK, WHITE, RED, COPPER
from the fan I have BLACK (fan), BLUE (light), WHITE, GREEN
Besides green to copper, what should the connections be? The manual I have makes no mention of the RED wire from my box.
Thank you!

Are there two sets of 3-way switches? a total of 4 switches. Or are there just 2 switches?
I would guess that you just connect black to black, red to blue, white to white and green to bare.

If there are just 2 three way switches, that means that there is only one device being switched. Three way switches work in pairs.
That would mean that either
A: Both the fan and light are on the same switches. Flipping either switch turns on or off both the light and fan
B: or either that fan or light is on the switch the other is hot all of the time and uses the pull strings. Flipping either switch turns on or off either the light or fan.
C: or they are not 3-way switchs, but standard on/off switches. Flipping one switch turns on the fan the other switch turns on the light.
A standard switch has 2 gold screws and ground and should have On and Off stamped on the switch.
A 3-way switch has a black screw, 2 gold screws and a ground and does not have On and Off stamped on the switch.

in my original post i noted that both switches did the same thing- operate both fan and light.
I want to leave that wiring the same. My question is how do I hook up the new fan/light to the four wires from my box.

You would connect white to to white (neutral)
You would connect green to bare (ground)
You would connect black and blue to the switched hot(either the black or red )
I do not know if the black or the red wire is switched hot leaving the switch. The wire is the one that is the single wire on the common screw(black) on the 3-way switch. One of the three way switches will have 2 wires on the common screw.
Or you could use a meter and see which wire is hot when the switches are switched.
